Where the time goes

When the whole team is out on site, calls go unanswered and quotes go quiet. In Invoca’s 2026 call data, only 52% of calls to home services businesses reached a person. Invoca sells call tracking software.

What we’d build first

  • AI task: Text back missed calls with open appointment slots
  • AI task: Draft follow-ups on open quotes for your approval
  • AI task: Ask customers for an honest review after each visit

The rules we build to

  • Marketing texts and calls generally need the customer’s written consent first, and a lawsuit can award $500 to $1,500 per call or text.
  • Calls made with an AI voice follow the same consent rules as prerecorded calls, as the FCC confirmed in 2024.
  • At least 11 states require everyone on a call to agree to recording, so calls open with a clear notice.
  • The FTC’s 2024 rule allows asking for reviews but bars rewards for positive ones, with penalties above $50,000 for each violation.
  • A price the AI sends could be treated as an offer, so a person approves every quote and price ranges are labeled as estimates.

  4. Technicians out on 14 service calls

This is an example, not a promise. The assessment finds what fits your business.
